Last updated: April 2026. This policy explains how VoxScan collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
We collect data you provide directly (account email, name), data generated by your use of the app (scan metadata, usage statistics), and device information (OS version, device model) for crash reporting and performance monitoring. We do not read, store, or analyse the content of your documents on our servers beyond what is required to process your explicit requests (e.g., OCR, cloud sync).
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated statistics with analytics partners. We use industry-standard sub-processors (cloud storage, payment processors) who are contractually bound to protect your data.
Documents stored in cloud sync are retained until you delete them or close your account. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days in disaster-recovery storage.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To submit a data request, email legal@voxscan.app.
